Job Summary:
The Marketing Analytics Intern will support a high-impact marketing initiative launching this summer. This internship is centered on analyzing the performance of summer program/campaign and understanding how it drives results across both overall marketing performance and store- and region-level sales channels.
The intern will own a structured analytics project with two core deliverables:
measurement and insights related to the summer program launch and ongoing performance, and
analysis of store and regional sales performance, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities across channels.
This role offers hands-on exposure to how marketing analytics informs sales execution, field performance, and leadership decision-making.
This position will also be attending our summer marketing events. Event days may start early, run late, or happen on weekends.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Support end-to-end measurement of summer program or campaign launch
Define success metrics and KPIs in partnership with marketing and sales stakeholders
Track performance across marketing and sales channels
Build dashboards and recurring performance reports
Analyze program effectiveness, including reach, engagement, conversion, and downstream sales impact
Evaluate store-level and regional sales performance, including:
Performance variation across locations or regions
Trends over time and comparisons to baseline or benchmarks
Identification of high-performing patterns and potential improvement areas
Synthesize data into clear, actionable insights for both marketing and sales teams
Prepare visualizations and executive-ready summaries that translate data into business recommendations
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales and analytics partners
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with SQL, Python, R, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus
Interest in marketing performance measurement, sales analytics, and business strategy
Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences
Organized, curious, and comfortable working with real-world, imperfect data
What You'll Gain
Ownership of a real, end-to-end analytics project tied to a live program launch
Experience working with cross-functional marketing and sales leaders
Practical exposure to store- and region-level performance analysis
Development of executive communication skills through leadership-facing presentations
A portfolio-ready project demonstrating analytical rigor and business impact
Mentorship from experienced marketing and analytics professionals
