  • A seasoned development leader with 8+ years of progressive fundraising experience (YMCA or nonprofit experience preferred).
  • An experienced team leader (5–7+ years supervising staff) who builds strong, accountable, high‑performing teams.
  • A strategic thinker who leverages trends, data, and relationships to drive sustainable growth.
  • A confident communicator and persuasive storyteller who inspires generosity.
  • Skilled in major gifts, planned giving vehicles, grant writing, and campaign strategy.
  • CFRE preferred.
Essential Functions
  • Design and lead a bold, data-informed fundraising strategy that achieves annual and long‑range goals.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.

  • Partner with the CEO and Board of Directors to build a highly engaged fundraising board and volunteer network.
  • Secure foundation and government grants through strategic research and compelling proposals.
  • Lead and inspire high‑performing annual giving and special events teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to craft compelling, mission-centered messaging that mobilizes donors.
  • Represent the YMCA as a visible, influential leader in the community.
