Position: Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Psych

Job Specifics

• Location: 301 E St Joseph St, Green Bay, WI 54301
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• FTE Status: 1.0 FTE, Full-Time
• Work Schedule: Day Shift only;
  Will be working 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. No nights, weekends, call requirements, or holiday rotations.

Job Description:

• The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures.
• The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient.
• Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.

Position Specifics:

• Answering phone calls from patients or parents regarding medication issues, medication side effects, medication dosage adjustments, and behavioral issues.
• Complete medication prior authorizations with insurance companies, complete FMLA and Short-Term Disability paperwork, complete Genesight testing, and give medication injections.
• Will meet with patients in person if they come into the clinic, but a majority of the RN duties are performed via telephone from Bellin's Outpatient Psychiatry clinic.

Qualifications:

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• Certification encouraged in job specialty.
• 
  Previous RN experience required. Previous Psych experience is preferred.
