Travel NICU RN Job Details- Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU (Travel)
- Location: Green Bay, WI 54301 (Wisconsin nursing job). Green Bay offers a welcoming community feel with easy access to waterfront scenery, local dining, and year-round outdoor activities—an ideal home base for an on-site travel assignment.
- Healthcare Setting: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Start Date: 03/09/2026
- End Date: 06/07/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (travel contract)
- Schedule: Nights, every other weekend (EOW)
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 3x12s (36 hrs/week), every other weekend (EOW)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $2,470–$2,600
- Openings: 1
- Work Setting: On-site
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent NICU RN experience (specialty experience required)
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state license requirements apply)
- Certifications: Current BLS and NRP
- Availability: Ability to work scheduled 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend (EOW), and meet contract start date
- Local Candidate Policy: No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Additional: Requested time off should be provided at time of submission
- Provide safe, evidence-based neonatal nursing care to NICU patients requiring specialized monitoring and support
- Perform ongoing assessments, interpret vital signs and clinical changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and nutrition support per provider orders and NICU protocols
- Collaborate with neonatology providers and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized plans of care
- Support and educate parents/caregivers using compassionate communication and family-centered care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow patient safety and infection prevention standards
