What You’ll Do:

As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care while actively engaging patients and families throughout the continuum.

You will monitor patient conditions, recognize changes quickly, and adjust care plans as needed—mobilizing resources and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to drive optimal patient outcomes.

You will apply evidence-based practices and participate in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and outcomes.

You will promote a culture of safety by identifying risks, intervening appropriately, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and team members.

You will administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols while maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

You will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills, supporting team-based care and appropriate delegation.

You may float to other care areas as needed to support patient care demands, demonstrating flexibility in a high-acuity setting.

You will uphold ethical standards, adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics, and contribute to an inclusive, patient-centered care environment.

You will support professional development by completing required education, maintaining certifications, and seeking opportunities for growth.

Schedule Details / Additional Information:
  • Licensure & Certification: RN license in applicable state; BLS required (additional certifications may be required based on specialty)

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

  • Experience: Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
