- Location: 744 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301
- FTE Status: Full-Time, 0.8 - 1.0 FTE available (32-40 hours/week). Tell us what works for you!
- Work Schedule: Day/Night rotation or Straight Nights. Weekend rotation included. Weekend rotations will adhere to a modified block schedule based on availability, with shifts occurring every third weekend

Description:
Our 25-bed Observation Unit is designed to provide short-term evaluation, treatment and assessment for patients who do not require full admission to the hospital. Examples of patients seen include but are not limited to those experiencing chest pain, TIA, Respiratory illnesses and COPD exacerbation. The Unit is a middle ground between outpatient and inpatient care which allows staff to monitor and assess patients before determining the need for further care or discharge.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible and accountable for providing quality professional nursing care to patients and their families and significant others adhering to the WI Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Code of the WI Board of Nursing, and/or appropriate nursing standards governing nursing in the state of practice, the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and Bellin Health Policies and Procedures.
The responsibility includes providing a safe environment for patients, families, staff, and visitors and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for the patient. Community involvement and collaboration is encouraged.
