Part-Time Nursing Instructor

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction and assessment of learning outcomes
• Utilize engaging instructional strategies and methodologies that foster student success
• Maintain accurate student records and communication
• Advise and support students as a mentor and role model toward learning and career goals
• Remain accessible to students outside scheduled classroom time
• Provide educational leadership and work effectively with faculty, administration, and campus support staff
• Maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and licensure required by other agencies for accreditation
• Comply with College policies and practices related to instruction, assessment, and delivery
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needs arise

• Master's Degree in Nursing OR a BSN enrolled in and actively pursuing completion of MSN
• Two years of direct occupational work experience, including at least one year within the last five years
• Must meet requirements of appropriate accrediting agencies
• Have or be able to obtain Wisconsin Nursing licensure and be certifiable by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing
• Employment is conditional on completion of a Caregiver Background Check with acceptable results to the clinical agencies
• Ability to move around campus and work around fixed equipment and machinery
• Ability to use office equipment, tools, controls, and/or heavy equipment and machinery
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with students and staff
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout employment

Demonstrates expertise in instructional planning and assessment, with a strong focus on student engagement and success. Holds a Master's Degree in Nursing or is actively pursuing an MSN, along with the necessary Wisconsin Nursing licensure.
