Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Green Bay, Wisconsin. This position involves providing pre- and post-operative care to adult and pediatric patients recovering from various surgical procedures. The role emphasizes managing complex patient needs, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and facilitating safe discharges in a fast-paced, hospital-based setting.

  Description:
  
  PACU RN responsible for patient recovery and discharge procedures for a diverse patient population in a Level II Trauma Center with multiple specialty cases including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic, and endovascular procedures.
• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; at least 2 years of PACU experience with inpatient, outpatient, and observation care is preferred.
• Schedule:
  
  Evening shift, 8 hours daily, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Experience with post-cardiac catheter, bronchs, and interventional radiology patients highly preferred. The role includes floating between multiple PACU units and supporting multi-disciplinary teams.
• Responsibilities:
  Managing cardiac rhythms, administering cardiac GTTs, providing patient discharge instructions, and supporting intraoperative and post-op patient care.
