Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU Travel Nurse – Wisconsin

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Float rotation to all inpatient units as needed.

- Comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center with nationally recognized specialists
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
- Float position providing exposure to multiple high-acuity units including PICU, NICU, cardiac, and general pediatric care
- Patient ratios: ICU 1:1-2, IMC 1:2-3, General care 1:3-4
- Extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, IV teams, and pharmacy
Requirements:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
- Must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years
- Travel nursing experience required
- BLS and PALS certifications required (American Heart Association only)
- NRP certification preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start (strict passing criteria applies)
- NICU experience strongly preferred
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
