General Description

Responsible for the preparation and sales of food products, souvenirs, admissions, and rentals.

Examples of Duties

* Provides customer service.

* Stocks sales areas with supplies and monitors inventory.

* Prepares items for sale and completes accurate sales transactions.

* Assists in opening the facility and inspecting the area.

* Maintains and cleans concession equipment and related areas.

* Follows all policies, procedures, and the philosophy that is set forth by the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required

* Must be at least 15 years of age.

* Experience working with the public and customer service experience and/or training desirable.

* Experience or training in food service; experience in concession sales desirable.

A combination of equivalent experience and/or education may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Working knowledge of recreation facilities. Knowledge and skill in proper customer service techniques.

* Skill and ability in cash handling.

* Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to read and perform basic calculations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work the required hours of the position.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the following activities:

* Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.

* Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, crouching, and kneeling.

* Occasional sitting, pushing, and pulling.

* Ability to work in varied environmental conditions.
