Qa Laboratory Technician

Job Title

Position at JBS USA

Auditing, documenting and enforcing USDA and facility regulations.

Perform checks and verifications to ensure food safety and quality program is being followed.

Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and perform HACCP procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Must work with FSIS/USDA and present records per the agency's request.

Aid QA and/or FS Supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations.

Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product AQL standards and specifications, correcting any deficiencies and notifying management of any violations of USDA regulations or HACCP requirements.

Maintain lab equipment by ensuring proper cleaning and regular maintenance is performed.

Data entry and Manage data

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Must demonstrate and be able to pass all required safety courses provided by JBS.

Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of completing all work assignments with minimal supervision.

Must be able to motivate, train, and teach employees their job to JBS standards.

Good Communication Skills.

Computer skills required.

Able to work 2nd shift when required.
