Hardware Sales Associate

Kimps ace hardware is seeking a part-time or full-time hardware sales associate to provide exceptional services to customers

Essential functions:

* greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner

* assist customers with plumbing, electrical, and fastener questions (training available)

* ensure customers have all supplies needed to complete project

* complete daily maintenance on key machines

* restock area with all supplies

* assist and support other areas of the store to promote great teamwork

* update pricing stickers as needed

* assist with putting away product orders

* duplicate customer house and automotive keys

Job qualifications:

* high school or equivalent

* valid driver's license

* willing to work on a weekend rotation

* must be able to lift over 50 pounds frequently

* must possess the ability to stay on task & complete work in a timely manner

* strong attention to detail

* willingness to follow company policies

* previous experience in customer service (preferred)

* the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

* strong phone communication skills

* intermediate computer skills

* ability to stand for 6 hours at a time
