Our client is a well-established, industry-leading manufacturer of coding and marking solutions, supplying innovative equipment and services to manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Account Manager to develop business and manage key customer relationships throughout Wisconsin.
Position OverviewThe Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an established customer base while developing new business opportunities throughout Wisconsin.
This is a consultative sales role focused on helping manufacturers improve traceability, compliance, productivity, and overall operational efficiency through industry-leading coding and marking solutions.
This position is ideal for a sales professional with experience selling capital equipment, packaging machinery, automation, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with existing manufacturing customers throughout Wisconsin.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across key manufacturing markets.
- Conduct plant visits to understand customer production processes and identify opportunities for coding and marking solutions.
- Present technical solutions and demonstrate the value of the company's products and services.
- Work closely with applications engineers and service teams to deliver complete customer solutions.
- Develop strategic account plans to increase market share within the territory.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast business opportunities using CRM.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements while maintaining profitability.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience within manufacturing or industrial markets.
- Experience selling packaging machinery, industrial automation, coding & marking equipment, labeling systems, material handling, process equipment, or related capital equipment preferred.
- Proven ability to develop new business while managing existing accounts.
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable selling into manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel throughout Wisconsin.
