Senior-Level Custom Equipment Sales Representative

HART Design is seeking an experienced, senior-level outside sales representative to develop new business opportunities and manage existing customer relationships in the worldwide food and dairy industry.

The ideal candidate will work out of HART’s office in Green Bay, WI, but will travel 30-50% domestically and internationally.

This position requires the aggressive pursuit of new accounts by cold calling, researching opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor assisting our current clients in finding solutions to their cheese processing and packaging needs.

• Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals, and plant visits.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, and purchasing personnel.
• Identify customer end-goals and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare quotations and proposals. This will include breaking down complex RFQ’s and identifying project parameters and contractual obligations.
• Manage sales cycles from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
• Meet and exceed progressive annual sales goals.

• 8 plus years selling capital equipment, industrial automation, packaging, or OEM equipment.
• Understanding of machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with consultant-style technical sales.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, industrial automation or related field.
• HART would consider experience in place of education.
