This full-time, on-site Account Executive role is based in St. Croix County, WI. The Account Executive will manage a portfolio of customers, build strong relationships with decision-makers, and serve as a trusted advisor on Solera’s vehicle lifecycle solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and leading the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and close.
The role involves collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored proposals, forecasting and reporting on pipeline activity, and ensuring a smooth handoff to implementation and customer success teams. The Account Executive will also monitor market trends, gather customer feedback, and contribute to sales strategies that drive revenue growth and long-term customer retention.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within software, automotive, fleet, or related industries.
- Strong skills in relationship building, client communication, and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and negotiate with diverse customer groups.
- Proficiency in consultative selling, solution-based sales approaches, and pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms).
- Ability to analyze customer needs and market data, translate insights into actionable opportunities, and present value-driven proposals.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site and traveling locally or regionally as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background or interest in vehicle lifecycle management, automotive technology, fleet management, or SaaS solutions is highly beneficial.
