Pay Rate: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (potential for bonuses and total compensation up to $80,000 for certified technicians)

The Boat House of Three Lakes Service Department seeks an experienced Marine Technician. Candidates with marine, auto, or heavy equipment engine experience are required; dealership experience is preferred. The Boat House will support those pursuing Master Certification and offer competitive wages.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair services on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of marine vessels.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance marine system performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Marine Technician with expertise in marine engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various marine vessels, including boats and other watercraft.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations for on‑site services.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
