Carpenter
You will work as a rough carpenter focused primarily on framing and general labor for commercial new construction projects. This role involves extensive daily use of hand and power tools to measure, cut, and prepare materials for framing, while supporting a variety of on-site construction tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform rough carpentry work with a primary focus on framing for commercial construction projects.
- Carry out general labor duties on active construction sites, including material handling and site cleanup.
- Use hand tools and power tools daily, including power drills, tape measures, hand saws, nail guns, and reciprocating saws to cut and prepare materials prior to framing.
- Assist with demolition work on construction sites, removing existing structures and preparing areas for new construction.
- Support concrete work as needed, such as helping with the pouring of sidewalks.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Manager and crew to complete project tasks safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Work effectively within a 5–6 person crew, coordinating tasks with rough and finish carpentry teams as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all site safety guidelines and procedures.
- Adapt to different tasks on site, including occasional remodeling work on commercial projects.
- Travel with the crew to various project sites across the state as needed, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
Essential
Skills:
- At least 6 months of experience framing new construction projects.
- At least 6 months of experience using power tools such as power drills, reciprocating saws, nail guns, and similar equipment.
- At least 6 months of demolition experience on a construction site.
- Practical knowledge of rough carpentry and construction framing.
- Ability to read measurements accurately and use tape measures and cutting tools with precision.
- Comfort working on active construction sites with frequent use of power tools and heavy materials.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.

This is a permanent position based out of Green Bay, WI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
