Field Service Technician – Responsibilities
Responsible for on‑site electrical service activities involved with unit placement, setup completion, and warranty work for TRACHTE Engineered Buildings. Manage the electrical portion of installation and related services. Position all building parts according to drawings and technical documentation. Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, subcontractors and colleagues.
Field Service Technician – Qualifications- Associate degree or minimum 3+ years of experience as an electrician with construction/commercial related electrical experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong customer service background.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Accountable for all travel expense reporting for assigned on‑site services.
- Ability to follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record; approved to operate company vehicles.
- Willingness to work remotely from anywhere in the US and travel a minimum of 50% of the time after a 100% onsite training period at WI or GA locations for 4–6 months.
- Subject to random OSHA safety training, job site training, drug screens, and background checks.
