Field Service Technician - Green Bay, WI

Overview

Brabazon is looking for a full-time Field Service Technician out of our Green Bay, WI location.

You will be responsible for interacting with our external customers to provide excellent technical customer service and repair and interacting with the internal service team to keep the department running efficiently.

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet)
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and be willing to occasionally travel overnight
• Willing and able to be on-call in rotation with other technicians
• Provide your own basic tools (job specific tools will be provided or evaluated upon request)

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work in various industrial environments with extremes in hot and cold temperatures
• Ability to withstand continuous walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and kneeling

• Communicate professionally and courteously
• Have excellent customer service and time management skills
• Are adaptable and resourceful in finding solutions
• Maintain a high attention to detail and can multi-task and prioritize

• Responding to customer service/work order requests
• Performing routine, preventive maintenance and repairs along with installation of air compressors, air dryers, pumps, and vacuum equipment
• Performing diagnostic assessments
• Assisting Service Manager with preparation of service quotes
• Assisting with training and developing new training programs
• Assisting with writing SOPs

• High School Diploma / GED equivalent is required; however, a 2 year technical degree or higher is preferred.
• Three (3)+ years of maintenance and repair experience is preferred to include mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. HVAC, refrigeration, pipe fitting, PLC programming and welding are preferred but not required.
• Must have own basic tools; job specific tooling will be provided or evaluated upon request.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the Internet.
• Be self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong customer service ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and be willing to travel overnight occasionally.
• Willing to work overtime during the week and on weekends when needed, or as job requires, with little notice and be on call for a week at a time, including holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with people of various backgrounds.
• Previous experience with pumps, compressors, refrigeration, piping, and vacuum equipment is an asset but not required.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in varied industrial environments including extremes in hot and cold temperatures with continuous walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and kneeling.
• Must wear and use proper PPE at all times, in all applicable areas.
