Alter Trading Corporation Company, privately held company with several scrap metal processing facilities throughout the Midwest and Southern region, is searching for a Maintenance/Welder on day shift at its Green Bay, WI. This position will be responsible for basic repairs such as performing work on conveyors, changing motor boxes, changing bearings and stick welding
HoursMonday through Friday 6:30am - 4:00pm. Saturday possible based on operational needs.
Summary- The Maintenance/Welder position operates welding equipment and assists with general maintenance needs.
Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times.
Requirements- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 – 50 pounds.
- Welding (stick) and fabricating skills are required
