Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC​/Refrigeration

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets
• Support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities refrigeration HVAC equipment team
• Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities
• Support stores and store associates
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policies, and environmental guidelines

• 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration, or 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Hold and maintain Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling
• Where required, HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman
• 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area, or 2 years’ Walmart store experience
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report
• Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five years
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations in the last three years
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently
• Completion of required training to operate equipment and tools safely

Demonstrates expertise in maintaining and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines. Proficient in using hand tools, digital tools, and work order management systems to support facility operations and emergency maintenance.
