Maintenance and Repair Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance person to join our team! Part-time and full-time positions available. This position includes installation, maintenance, repair and cleaning of trash and linen chutes and trash compactors. This person will also assist with general maintenance and repairs at our office properties and our fleet of vehicles and equipment. Most of this work will be in the Milwaukee and Madison areas, with occasional travel to other job sites.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, self-motivated, hands-on, proactive, and eager to learn new skills. Training will be provided. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between job sites. Competitive hourly rates, commensurate with experience and duties.

What we're looking for:

• General maintenance background
• Familiar with use of hand & small power tools
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to maintain schedules and work within budgets
• Help maintain fleet of vehicles (basic auto repair)
• Good math skills
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to prepare quotes and work orders
• Construction background is a plus
• Subcontractors welcome to apply
