Mechanical and Industrial Insulator

Our organization is looking for a dedicated Mechanical and Industrial Insulator to become part of our crew. You will be responsible for applying insulation to industrial machinery, piping networks, ventilation ducts, and various mechanical systems, which helps optimize energy performance, dampen sound, and prevent unwanted thermal transfer.

Core Duties:

• Execute the precise measurement, cutting, and installation of insulation materials to align with project requirements.
• Enhance the longevity and security of installations by applying appropriate protective coverings or jackets.
• Perform insulation tasks across a range of industrial, commercial, and select residential job sites.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to safety standards and utilizing required gear.
• Coordinate effectively with project leads and fellow tradespeople to ensure all assignments are finished on time.

Required Background:

• Proficiency in operating the hand and power tools necessary for insulation tasks.
• Demonstrate a high level of precision and a dedication to delivering quality results.
• Capable of performing tasks solo or contributing effectively within a group setting.
• Maintain the physical stamina required to operate at heights or within restricted areas.
• Prepared to handle responsibilities while working in diverse environmental conditions.
