HVAC Install​/Tech

L&C Heating and Cooling is seeking an HVAC Install / Tech to join our onsite team in Phelps, WI.

As an HVAC Install / Tech, you will install, service, and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems to ensure safe, efficient operation. You’ll work on job sites from start to finish, including preparing equipment, completing installations, and verifying performance.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety procedures, and communicates clearly with team members and customers throughout the installation process.

• Install residential HVAC systems, including equipment placement, ductwork connections, and electrical/gas line hookups as applicable
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs to restore system performance and reliability
• Confirm proper system operation by running tests, checking airflow, and verifying accurate temperature control
• Maintain job site organization and follow all safety practices throughout installation and service work
• Document work performed and communicate updates clearly with the team as jobs progress

• Relevant experience installing and/or servicing HVAC systems
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and follow installation instructions and system requirements
• Working knowledge of safe practices used in HVAC installations and service environments
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver HVAC components and tools as needed for onsite work
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for onsite assignments

• Certification or training related to HVAC installation, service, or refrigerant handling
• Experience with both installation and troubleshooting across different heating and cooling systems
• Familiarity with code-compliant installation practices and inspection readiness
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Customer-focused communication skills in residential or service settings

Hourly rate: $25.00 - $35.00
