Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour, with the opportunity to increase pay by up to $2/hour following a six-month performance review.

Position Summary:

Home Visitors provides strength-based, trauma-informed support and education to families with young children. This role includes conducting home visits, facilitating parenting groups, and collaborating with schools and community partners to promote family well-being and child development. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable individual who believes in meeting families where they are and walking alongside them in their parenting journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide parenting education and support using evidence-based models such as Parents as Teachers (PAT), Triple P, or other approved curricula.
  • Conduct regular home visits to support parenting skills, child development, and family goal planning.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and data entry.
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with families of diverse backgrounds.
  • Facilitate parenting groups, playgroups, and family events to promote connection and support.
  • Partner with schools and educators to coordinate services and support school readiness.
  • Participate in training, reflective supervision, and team meetings.
  • Use a strength-based, culturally responsive approach in all interactions.
Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred; related experience considered.
  • Experience working with children and families in home, school, or community settings.
  • Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with child development and community resources.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Proficiency in basic technology use for virtual visits and recordkeeping.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.
  • Lived experience as a parent, caregiver, or someone who has navigated early childhood or social systems is highly valued.
