Overview
Are you an OTR driver looking to get off the road but still open to going out a couple nights a week? If you are seeking a Midwest regional driving position and a new opportunity for 2026, this may be the role for you. Front Line Bldg Products Inc. in Green Bay, WI is recruiting a CDL Driver responsible for delivery of building products to scheduled locations in a timely manner.
The position requires overnight stays 2-3 nights a week, traveling to Minnesota and Fargo, ND one week and central Iowa the next. On other days, deliveries will be made to Eau Claire, Medford and Northeast Wisconsin. Customer service with customers is essential when delivering material to job sites and offices. The driver will also help in the warehouse when not needed for deliveries.
This is a no-touch delivery position.
- Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including completing pre-inspection forms and minor maintenance if needed.
- Reports mechanical or maintenance issues to the Plant Manager in a timely manner.
- Performs shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and documentation.
- Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading.
- Ensures the customer’s signature on the receipt of material and collects COD charges when specified.
- Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy.
- Reports any issues discovered at the job site to the Plant Manager.
- Must have a valid CDL Class A driver’s license, required.
- Two years of verifiable experience driving a 53’ tractor trailer within the last 5 years, required.
- Ability to meet all DOT regulations to receive and maintain a medical card, required.
- As a condition of continued employment, employees in driving roles must maintain a valid license and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
