Courier Driver Sheboygan

Job Summary

Back Courier Driver – PRN – Sheboygan #26-381 Green. This position is on a PRN basis, with no set schedule; you will pick up shifts as they become available. The role requires safe, timely transportation of documents, packages, and other materials between locations.

• Deliver clinic material, pick up supplies and mail, and distribute to appropriate destinations; run errands as requested.
• Execute delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Handle lab samples and medications safely and efficiently, protecting critical health information.
• Load and unload daily supply items with care, ensuring proper handling.
• Verify delivery information including addresses, recipient details, and special instructions.
• Meet daily with supervisor to discuss special needs, problems, and assignments.
• Ensure proper maintenance of courier vehicle.
• Deliver all daily supplies to correct locations by end of shift.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions daily.
• Inspect and safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Departmental Communications.

• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of transportation routes within the community.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Skilled in manual and finger dexterity.
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff and the public.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Maintains professional conduct and appearance at all times.
• Potential availability or use of privately owned vehicle.
