Overview
Join our team as a CDL Truck Driver responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks.
Responsibilities- Safely operating various commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and dump trucks
- Planning routes using GPS to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
- Loading and unloading freight manually or with equipment, following safety and hazardous materials regulations
- Securing cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and maintenance needs
- Maintaining accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records in compliance with regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch teams regarding route and safety updates
- Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements
- Experience in commercial truck driving and freight delivery
- Knowledge of manual transmissions, cargo handling, and safety regulations (FMCSA, DOT)
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems
- Familiarity with freight handling equipment is a plus
- Strong safety commitment and adherence to transportation laws
