The Green Bay Warehouse Associate reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for various tasks involved in the storage, organization, and distribution of goods. This role typically involves receiving, unpacking, labeling, storing, and picking items according to orders. Warehouse associates may also be involved in inventory management, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and occasionally operating machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
CoreFunctions Of This Role
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck to pull and prepare outbound customer orders
- Build, wrap, sort, pick, pack, and stage customer orders
- Load outbound delivery trucks and will calls
- Consolidate product to maximize space utilization
- Repackage and/or relabel products due to damages/vendor errors and returns
- Stock received merchandise and/or movement of stock items
- Clean the workspace; participate with the team in keeping the facility clean, safe and accident free
- Answer phone calls and follow‑up on orders, shortages and/or mistakes
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, organization and project management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to read and interpret printed orders and direction
- Demonstrated record of safety and quality control
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
- Strong work ethic and high degree of self‑motivation
- Perform duties under minimal direction
- High sense of urgency and ability to multi‑task competing priorities
- Excellent attendance record
- Proficient math skills
- Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures, embodying our core values in every interaction
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years’ warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receiving
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience with forklifts
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience with pallet jacks
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience with reach trucks
- Ability to lift items that weigh a minimum of 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop and climb repetitiously throughout the day
