INTERNAL: QA Sampler

Job Summary

Be a part of helping people live healthy lives as our new QA Sampler. This role is located at the Distribution Center/1441 Warehouse, open only to internal employees, and is scheduled for the 1st shift hours. The position involves sampling raw materials and contract bulk/finished goods, ensuring accurate labeling, and releasing packaging components.

• Follow established statistical sampling plans for raw materials and contract bulk/finished goods.
• Visually examine containers and finished products for correct labeling, container integrity, and potential contamination.
• Operate forklifts, hand jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials.
• Safely lift and stack cases or bags weighing 40–100 pounds.
• Aseptically collect samples using appropriate PPE and GMP procedures.
• Organize and maintain documentation required for sample movement.
• Use SAP to record sample movements, complete evaluation forms, and release materials that do not require lab testing.
• Prioritize workload by first‑in, first‑out and urgent requests.
• Drive personal vehicle to complete sampling tasks at multiple company locations and deliver samples to the laboratory.
• Maintain a library of reserve samples in the SAP Reserve Sample Database and on library shelves.
• Conduct special sampling requests and complete related documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including recording cleaning logs.
• Complete all training requirements such as SOPs, work instructions, safety training, cGMP training, and equipment certifications.
• Build partnerships through teamwork and communication with other departments.
• Notify the supervisor or manager of any discrepancies in safety, quality, operations, or health concerns.
• Utilize required computer programs (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Office) and observe continuous improvement opportunities.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds routinely and move items up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to wear PPE, including lab coat, hair net, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and P100 respirator.
• Strong computer literacy with preferred SAP experience.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently while coordinating with other departments.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet business needs.
• Flexibility regarding start and end times as business needs arise.
• High school diploma or GED; equivalent combination of education and one to three months of related experience is acceptable.
