Role Summary

The Manufacturing International Fulfillment Associate I plays a critical role in delivering accurate, on‑time shipments to retail and wholesale customers. This position is responsible for picking, packing, palletizing, and shipping products—including litter—while ensuring all outbound orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency. Success requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to established processes. The associate helps maintain high‑quality standards, supports a safe and organized work environment, and contributes to overall operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do

The International Fulfillment Associate I is responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling retail and wholesale litter orders by picking, packing, palletizing, and preparing outbound shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to established processes, and consistent reliability to maintain quality standards, ensure safety, and support overall operational performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform all tasks safely, including team lifts for heavy loads; use company‑approved gloves when cutting, handling pallets, and removing strapping
  • Report all workplace injuries immediately to a Lead or Supervisor
  • Complete and document pre‑shift inspections; report maintenance needs promptly
  • Load and unload trailers, containers, and other vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and system records
  • Pick, pack, and palletize orders in compliance with partner, customs, and international shipping requirements
  • Lifting, packaging, and shipping litter in 20 lb, 40 lb, and 60 lb formats
  • Use RF scanners and company systems to accurately process and track orders
  • Generate and apply shipping labels, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and required documentation
  • Prepare international shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.) in compliance with regulations
  • Weigh, dim, and verify case packs, master packs, and pallets for accuracy and carrier compliance
  • Stage outbound shipments in designated lanes based on carrier, route, and priority
  • Schedule or coordinate pickups with carriers as directed
  • Communicate with drivers at check‑in/check‑out to ensure correct loads and documentation
  • Perform final load checks to ensure proper product, quantity, and securement
  • Ensure proper pallet configuration, wrapping, banding, and labeling for safe transit
  • Follow hazmat or special handling procedures when applicable
  • Resolve shipment discrepancies and report issues to leadership promptly
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable
  • Monitor shipping deadlines and prioritize orders to meet SLAs and customer expectations
  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
  • Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities
  • Investigate and help resolve inventory variances
  • Respond with urgency to shipping and litter demands as needed
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Support packaging optimization (carton selection, dunnage, labeling)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workspace using 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
  • Follow OSHA and PIT safety standards and company security procedures
  • Support cross‑training as both trainer and trainee
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other departments as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
