Location: Green Cove Springs Service Department

Job Type: Full-Time 48 hours

Reports To: Asset Manager / Service Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team and lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive inventory management system. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to build a system from scratch and create lasting impact by establishing best practices, tools, and processes that will support our growing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a full audit of current inventory practices and identify gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Design and implement an effective inventory control system tailored to the company’s operations.
  • Establish inventory tracking tools, processes, and protocols for receiving, storing, and distributing parts and supplies.
  • Implement inventory management using B2W software or recommend scalable solutions to meet company needs.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and movements.
  • Train staff to ensure effective system adoption and compliance.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and vendors for bulk consumable stock items.
  • collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations..

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in inventory control.
  • Demonstrated success in building or overhauling inventory systems or processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with inventory software.
  • Excellent communication and training abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
