The Production Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Green Cove Springs, FL, responsible for overseeing daily production operations in a concrete manufacturing environment. This role coordinates production schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors workflow to ensure products meet quality, safety, and productivity standards. The Production Supervisor leads and coaches production team members, supports training, and fosters a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Additional responsibilities include tracking production metrics, collaborating with maintenance and logistics teams, resolving operational issues, and communicating status updates to management. The supervisor also helps implement process improvements, supports inventory control, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and managing Production Schedules to meet demand and optimize resources.
- Candidates should possess Production Management experience, including monitoring output, quality, and safety in a manufacturing setting.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and providing clear direction to production staff.
- Experience in concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and lean or continuous improvement practices is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret production documents, specifications, and basic technical drawings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or supervisory training is an advantage.
- Capacity to work in an industrial environment, including standing for extended periods and safely operating around heavy equipment.
