Overview
Site controller for Green River and Parachute, part of the Global Business Unit Soda Ash & Derivatives. The Soda Ash Controlling team (6 people) is integrated in the Finance department. The role acts as a business partner with site management, the business unit and the finance team.
Responsibilities- Organize and coordinate the forecasting process and create the annual budget with cross-functional teams at the site.
- Provide the GBU Industrial Controller with information relevant for the preparation of the GBU Budget and rolling forecasts (fixed costs, variable costs, capex, inventories and other performance KPIs).
- Analyze and accurately report current month’s financial results and KPIs of the plant in accordance with the GBU format and time requirements; explain the evolution of performance to the plant and GBU management.
- Perform monthly performance reviews (labor and maintenance cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels) with site management; include analysis and recommendations to enhance financial performance and optimize assets.
- Ensure compliance with Group Finance standards and procedures; perform internal controls at the site for finance; educate and raise awareness within the site team.
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in finance or accounting.
- Relevant work experience in controlling in a manufacturing context.
- Competencies:
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections with strong attention to detail; ability to analyze results and suggest improvement plans where needed.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with a solid cost accounting background.
- Strong analytical capabilities and cross-functional communication skills.

- Good communication and collaborative skills; ability to provide clarity on financial performance and convey simple, clear messages to keep the team focused and drive action.
Attractive and equitable pay; compensation within a range to foster development in the role. Base pay for this role is $112,000 – $140,000 per year in the US. Salary may be higher or lower based on skills and experience. A competitive total rewards package includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
