Delivery Driver​/Forklift Operator​/Yard Personnel

We are a family-owned business located in Green River, WY, proudly selling and delivering quality materials to our region since 1990. We are actively searching for a delivery driver/forklift operator/yard personnel
.

Primary responsibility is to pull and assemble loads and/or drive company vehicles to deliver merchandise to customer job sites and physically unload the materials to the customer’s satisfaction, keep yard clean and assist customers in the yard.

• Learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy
• Safe loading, handling and transportation of materials and heavy cargo
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers
• Load and off-load company trucks with building materials by hand and/or forklift
• Receive delivered inventory by properly inspecting paperwork for accuracy and place in designated location
• Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed per company policy
• Perform daily inspection of each vehicle you drive for safe driving & report malfunctioning equipment promptly
• Comply with all DOT regulations
• Listen and work with customers to solve customer complaints
• Maintain and manage yard efficiency and cleanliness
• Cross train and perform additional job duties as required

• Class B CDL driver license preferred but not required
• Knowledge of building materials
• Experience operating radial saw, cut-off saw, chain saw and forklift preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers respectfully
• Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and interpret standard unit tape measure
• Ability to stand/walk 40+ hours in a week, stoop, kneel & crouch
• Physical strength to lift and carry 100 pounds
