Green Valley, AZ 85614 Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension Position's Contributions to Work Group:

- Testing and development of electric drive machinery such as AC drive hauls trucks, shovels, locomotives, etc. 8-10 years of experience with the design or testing or installation and maintenance of high-power electrical systems >1MW. Will work in a team of other test engineers and with mechanics and operators to execute prototype builds, machine updates and tests. Participate in risk assessments and hazard assessments related to electrical systems.

Interaction with team:

- Daily interaction with engineers, mechanics and machine operators Work environment:

- Arizona desert environment. Ability to work outside and on foot as well as in an office environment. Education & Experience

Required:

- Need several years of experience with design, installation and/or testing of high power (>1 Mw) electrical systems and electronics. Such as generators, switch gear, transformers, electric drive mining shovels, haul trucks, locomotives. Technical Skills (Required) - Advanced level of training and practical understanding within the electrical field. (Desired) - Level 4 Electrical Certification
