We are searching for a Warehouse Assistant to join our trusted and growing HVAC team. The role requires dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can manage inventory, maintain vendor relationships, and support the smooth operation of our warehouse and facility.

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for an accurate inventory system, ordering supplies, processing returns, and maintaining a safe, orderly warehouse. The position may also assist with general facilities maintenance and the movement of office equipment.
Duties- Complete cycle counts on product lines weekly or as determined necessary by GM.
- Participate in a weekly Warehouse huddle.
- Enter all daily Warehouse Assistant transactions into software to produce timely and accurate inventory and warehouse reports.
- Maintain proper stock on all vehicles and implement daily replenishment as a model.
- Ensure all warehouse stock accuracy within 3% or less.
- Manage vendor orders and purchase orders, keeping them accurate and up to date.
- Communicate with vendors regarding purchase order accuracy.
- Cross‑train in the lead warehouse role.
- Offload and load shipment packages from and onto delivery trucks.
- Receive goods and verify they match delivery documents.
- Prepare goods for shipment with appropriate paperwork.
- Receive work orders from supervisor to locate items in storage areas.
- Ensure received goods are stored in their correct areas.
- Take inventory of stored goods – count and record items received and sent out.
- Label each item per company labeling guides.
- Handle return or replacement requests for items and office goods.
- Restock returned items in designated storage areas and update inventory records.
- Perform general facility maintenance when needed.
- Load install trucks for next day jobs.
- Stage installs and work order parts for assigned jobs.
- Visit supply houses to pick up parts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High school or GED diploma.
- Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturer instructions and communicate clearly with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Physical ability to perform all duties under various conditions and extreme weather.
- Ability to work under time pressures, non‑standard schedules, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification (to be obtained within 60 days).
- Familiarity with Excel, Order Entry Software, and Microsoft Office.
- Physical ability to lift and carry a 75‑lb load over a distance of 75 ft, including ladder work; must not have a fear of heights.
- Interest and initiative to develop HVACR skills through formal schooling, company training, self‑study, manufacturer workshops, and professional development activities.
- Current Arizona driver’s license and ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet; must be insurable by Green Valley Cooling & Heating’s insurance carrier.
Tuesday through Saturday, 4‑9 am schedule with a half‑day Saturday morning. Start time may be as early as 5:00 am, varying by season.
PayEvery two weeks.
