Pay Rate: $105/Day

$125/Day for long-term substitute positions

Dedicated School Staffing is seeking reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to support schools when full-time teachers are absent. This role ensures continuity of learning by following established lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting students' academic and social development.

• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Provide clear instruction and support to students throughout the school day.
• Adapt to various grade levels and subject areas as needed.
• Take attendance and complete any required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and administrators.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other assigned duties.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's degree in any field (non-degreed opportunities available for students in education programs).
• Valid substitute teaching license or higher teaching license (as required by state regulations).
• Clean criminal background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Patience, professionalism, and a student-centered mindset.
• Adherence to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
