Associated Bank is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to manage complex investment portfolios for agency and fiduciary accounts within Associated Trust Company, N.A. In this role, you will partner directly with clients to develop tailored investment strategies while overseeing significant assets under management in a risk‑controlled environment. This is a high‑impact opportunity to influence portfolio performance, contribute to investment strategy, and collaborate with a team of experienced investment professionals.
KeyAccountabilities
- Manage complex investment portfolios for high‑net‑worth and institutional clients, ensuring strategies align with client objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
- Develop customized investment strategies through regular client engagement and a deep understanding of financial goals, family dynamics, and fiduciary considerations.
- Communicate portfolio performance, market insights, and forward‑looking strategies clearly to clients, including families, consultants, and foundation or endowment boards.
- Execute portfolio strategies within the framework established by the Chief Investment Officer while adhering to all compliance policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the investment team through participation in research, asset allocation analysis, external manager due diligence, and development of investment processes or products.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to maintain disciplined portfolio construction and risk management practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or similar field
- 4+ years of relevant investment management or portfolio management experience
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, asset allocation, and fiduciary portfolio management
- Access to reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive, if applicable
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation
