Position: Resident Assistant/STNA - Full-time 7am-7:30p

Resident Assistant / STNA Caregiver

Full‑time (36 hours per week). Working days are 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with alternate weekends and alternate holidays.

Summary of Position

As a Resident Assistant/STNA (Caregiver), you will provide personal care and assistance to residents, as well as participate in activities and tasks delegated by the nurse.

Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ohio‑state tested certified nursing assistant (STNA) if hired as a STNA
  • Experience in an assisted‑living facility preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Dexterity to feed, bathe, and perform other caregiving tasks
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach at various angles
  • Capable of standing, walking, and sitting intermittently throughout the day
  • Adherence to infection‑control procedures
  • Effective therapeutic communication skills
  • Professional, empathetic communication with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Readiness to assist during emergency situations
