Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistant needed for our government client in Greenbelt, MD. The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact when customers are visiting their District office. Eight month contract position with possible extension or contract to hire consideration. The non-negotiable pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Essential duties:
- Receive a high volume of calls from citizens with a variety of issues.
- Receive and sort mail.
- Schedule conference rooms for District and Assistant Managers.
- Enter information from citizens in the database system.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience answering phones for a corporation.
- Good customer service and multitasking skills are required.
- Must have proficient Microsoft Word and Excel skills along with a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
- Must be able to work from 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch.
- Must be able to have a background check and drug test.
