Overview
Status: Full-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Administrative Manager provides office support for all aspects of the Prince George's County Program Office.
Responsibilities- The Administrative Manager functions as the office receptionist, prepares weekly paperwork, and payroll processing. Also, maintains confidential participant and personnel records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment and maintain a professional manner with staff, families, and other service providers.
- Organized with attention to detail, good time management skills, and computer literacy (Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—Word Processing and Spreadsheet Software).
- Ability to work well with others, be friendly, and have an outgoing personality.
- Associate degree in business administration preferred but not required.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in an administrative or similar role.
- Proficient computer knowledge; specific skills evaluated at interview.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledge of using various database-type systems is helpful.
- Some understanding of insurance and third-party billing is helpful.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bi-Lingual/Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Availability to work some evenings.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage required.
