MSW Intern

Adoptions Together hosts MSW Interns who are students at various colleges and universities in the region. Internships are available in departments such as:
Counseling and Domestic Infant Program.

Each department will have certain criteria for selecting interns to work in their respective programs, however all interns will need to meet and understand the following requirements:

A:
At minimum, should be a MSW major at a college or university and be in good standing.

B:
Be open to and maintain respect for the clients of Adoptions Together, understanding that our clients come from various life circumstances, racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious faiths. That many of our clients are members of the LGBTQ community.

C:
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.

D:
Proficient in PC usage, along with proficiency in MS Office applications.

E:
Have the ability to arrive at the placement site on time and in a reliable fashion.

F:
Be able to maintain confidentiality of client information.

G:
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
