Construction Project Manager

Spiniello Companies is a privately held, national, full-service utility contractor. Expert knowledge of Civil Construction, Earthwork, and Utilities construction. Ability to apply efficient, innovative, and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance and project success. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices and standards, processes, and activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or comparable experience
• Strong Civil Construction, Trenchless Technologies and Underground Utility experience
• Experienced in reading drawings, takeoffs and detailed specification understanding
• Familiar with local, state and federal municipalities and agencies
• Experience in managing multiple large complex construction projects
• Thorough understanding of construction accounting
• Minimum of 10-15 years of project experience in Civil Construction/Underground Utility Construction
• Familiar with deep excavations, drainage, water, sewer, trenchless technologies and other civil construction scopes
• Creativity and innovation a must to provide innovative solutions and strong analytical skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interact and collaborate at all levels
• Must have excellent team building skills with effective communication
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point
• Working knowledge of Sage Timberline and HCSS
• Flexibility to travel, work after hours, and nights/weekends based on demands of various projects
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Passion for the work and industry. Independent with strong leadership skills
• Knowledge of alternative delivery methods (Design/Build, CMAR, etc.) a plus
• Four-year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of project experience in Civil Construction/Underground Utility Construction
• Ability to read and evaluate drawings and relevant contract documents and to prepare takeoffs
• Thorough understanding of construction codes and working knowledge of all trades and OSHA safety requirements
• Flexibility to travel, work after hours, and on nights/weekends
• Must be highly organized and efficient, and able to handle a wide variety of obligations
• Strong attention to detail and a self-starter
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and local entities
