Construction Technician, Construction Labor & Trades

Responsibilities

Allan Myers is looking for a dedicated, hard-working technician to join our elite team of professionals. Learn and grow with us. We provide the training and resources to get you as far as your ambition will take you.

This full-time entry-level technician role requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally semi-skilled in nature. A Technician can become a Crew Leader, Field Manager, or Superintendent.

• Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans tools, materials, and work areas.
• Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick and/or shovel.
• On-the-job training led by talented, passionate members of the Allan Myers team.
• Exposure to large heavy civil construction projects and/or materials production.
• Work as a valuable member of a team/crew learning craft skills.
• Communicates, models, and continuously reinforces company culture and leadership practices with other team members, including values, safety, ethics policy, and collaborative way.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• $23.00- $25.00, based on experience.

• A.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, related major, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Valid driver's license required.
