Performance Engineer
The performance engineer will be responsible for assessing the system's ability to scale and perform as necessary to meet non-functional system requirements. The performance engineer will work across the full technology stack in order to deliver technical recommendations, such as system sizing and scalability plans. The performance engineer will be responsible for identifying key performance indicators and, working with infrastructure, development, and performance test teams, to ensure the system is sized accordingly.
Minimum Required Skills/
Experience:
- 3 years of Performance Engineer experience including:
- Application / System Design
- Performance and Scalability Evaluation
- Performance tuning
- Performance test results evaluation and application monitoring tools (ex. App Dynamics, Dynatrace)
- Excellent communications skills
- Preferred
Skills: - Development background in Java and SQL
- Experience with system / application profiling (to identify performance bottlenecks)
- Experience in statistical modeling
