This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Therapist based in Greenbelt, MD. The Mental Health Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients, develop and implement personalized treatment plans, and support mental health recovery. Additional responsibilities include conducting assessments, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other professionals and community resources to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications- Experience in Treatment Planning and developing individualized therapy goals and interventions
- Background in Social Work and Case Management to address client needs and enhance access to resources
- Knowledge and practice of Mental Health assessment and therapeutic techniques
- Skills in Family Therapy and working with diverse client populations
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active, clinical license in the state of Maryland (e.g., LCSW-C, LCPC, LMSW, LGPC)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus
