Research Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow
NASA Postdoctoral Program
The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers unique research opportunities to highly talented scientists to engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or a NASA‑affiliated research institute. These fellowships range from one to three years and focus on advancing NASA’s missions in space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration systems, and astrobiology.
Position OverviewResearch focus on Earth’s fluid outer core: core dynamics and geomagnetic data assimilation system development, geodynamo and planetary dynamo simulations, core‑mantle interactions, Earth’s rotational and gravitational variations, geomagnetic secular variation prediction, and numerical algorithm development.
