Job Summary
Support the accounting team by performing routine accounting functions and assisting with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This role is ideal for a beginner accountant looking to build a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and compliance.
Responsibilities- Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and lease accounting.
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Close – Journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis.
- Monthly Sales & Use Tax calculations and remittance
- Manual intercompany invoicing and credits
- Various other accounting and finance tasks as necessary
Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5
Sstandards, perform job functions in a safe manner, wear all PPE required by Company Policy where required, know & follow established job specific and facility wide safety & health procedures and rules, participate in safety and health training & demonstrate competency based on training received, and bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, or safety suggestions to attention of management or correct those you can.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related business field
- Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- 0-2 Years of accounting experience preferred
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams & Outlook
- Basic Understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems such as Baan, Infor, SAP, Oracle a plus
- Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively

- Normal office environment. Possibility of exposure to production facilities
