About the Position:

Fillmore Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide to support classroom teachers and assist students in grades Kindergarten through 5th. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting classroom teachers with instructional support and small-group work

* Providing one-on-one assistance to students as needed

* Supporting the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities

* Helping maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

* Supervising students during transitions, lunch, and recess as assigned

* Collaborating with teachers, staff, and administration to meet student needs

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent (required)

* Prior experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff

* Flexibility and a student-centered mindset
